Beverly L. Edwards (Member) admitted to bar, 1981, Colorado. Education: Colorado College (B.A., History, cum laude, 1976); University of Denver (J.D., 1981). Ms. Edwards has extensive experience representing lenders in foreclosures throughout the State of Colorado. She has worked with Public Trustees throughout the state, and has experience handling most any issue that could arise in a foreclosure action. She has experience in the most simple residential foreclosure action to the complex, multi-property commercial transaction. Ms Edwards has authored legislation temporarily restructuring the foreclosure process in response to farm aid legislation.
Creditor Representation
Ms. Edwards has represented numerous creditor clients in both commercial and consumer collection cases. She has taught seminars on collection procedures, and has successfully collected assets for clients. She has experience in post-judgment execution procedures, foreclosure against real property, chattels and other personal property.
Ms. Edwards has been extensively involved in bankruptcy cases representing primarily creditors. She has represented consumer, commercial, real estate and agricultural lenders in Chapter 7, Chapter 11, Chapter 12 and Chapter 13 cases. Her experience includes cash collateral, relief from stay, post-petition financing, and dischargeability issues, plan confirmation and other matters affecting her creditor clients.

Ms. Edwards has worked on numerous loan workouts, in representation of commercial banks, credit unions, savings and loans, and agricultural lenders. Ms. Edwards has participated in numerous real estate transactions, including the preparation of loan documents for lenders on real estate transactions, preparation of commercial and residential real estate contracts and commercial and residential real estate closings.

E. Dwight Taylor (Member) admitted to bar, 1978, Arkansas and U.S. District Court, Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas; 1979, Kansas and U.S. District Court, District of Kansas; 1986, U.S. Court of Appeals, Tenth Circuit; 1992, Colorado and U.S. District Court, District of Colorado. Education: University of Arkansas (B.A., Political Science, 1970); University of Arkansas, Leflar Law Center (J.D., 1978). Mr. Dwight Taylor has extensive experience in significant commercial transactions and financing in construction, business acquisition, inventory and operations. He has particular expertise in agricultural law and the financing of commercial agricultural enterprises and rural utilities. His trial and appellate experience has been in the area of contract interpretation and enforcement, uniform commercial code issues, bankruptcy and business organizations. His work with business organizations include entity formation and governance, business planning and contracting, and asset preservation. He also has extensive experience in business reorganization cases, receiverships, collections and personal bankruptcies. In recent years Mr. Taylor has developed an estate planning and probate practice.
Mr. Taylor practiced in Arkansas and in Kansas before moving to Colorado in 1990. He was admitted to the state and federal courts in Arkansas and Kansas, and served as Assistant District Attorney for the Eighteenth Judicial District in Wichita, Kansas. From 1984 through 1995 Mr. Taylor served successively in the positions of Litigation Counsel for the Federal Intermediate Credit Bank of Wichita, Assistant General Counsel for the Farm Credit Banks of Wichita, Senior Vice President and General Counsel for the Wichita Bank for Cooperatives, and Associate General Counsel for CoBank, ACB, all of which are banks of the Farm Credit System serving farmers, ranchers and rural utilities nation-wide. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Taylor served in the United States Regular Army as a Captain and is a graduate of the United States Army Airborne and Ranger Schools. Mr. Taylor is active in civic organizations and serves on citizen boards and commissions for the City of Aurora.
