Law Offices of David K. Yamamoto
A Professional Corporation practices in the following areas of law:

Family Law, Collaborative Divorce, Child Custody, Child Support, Visitation Rights, Premarital Agreements, Domestic Violence, Property Evacuation and Division, Mediation, Civil Litigation, Guardianship, Spousal Support.
Year Established: 1986
Firm Profile:
My firm's focus is on Civil Litigation with an emphasis in Family Law which comprises virtually all of my practice. I represent individuals from all walks of life regarding their legal problems in Divorce, Child Custody, Child Support, Spousal Support, Division and Evaluation of Businesses, Investments, and Property.

My Litigation experience has included successful representation of individuals in Family Law. I have handled over 23 Criminal and Civil jury trials and well over 260 Divorce trials. My emphasis in the practice of law is to help individuals successfully resolve their legal problems. I pride myself in being able to analyze individuals' needs and concerns in order to develop a plan for success. I also provide mediation services in Family Law matters, and, as part of my affiliation with "A Better Divorce: A Group of Collaborative Law Professionals," provide an alternative way of approaching divorce. The group provides a process by which attorneys for both parties in a family dispute agree to assist in resolving a conflict using cooperative strategies rather than adversarial techniques and litigation. Early, non-adversarial participation by the attorneys allows them to use analysis and reasoning to solve problems, generate options, assist the parties through their transitional period, and create a positive context for settlement.
