The practice's founder, Sharon Miller, is a member of the Long Beach Probate and Trust Council, the Chamber of Commerce, the Woman's Council, Long Beach Women Lawyers, Alliance for Mental Illness, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and the Downtown Long Beach Lions Club. Additionally, Sharon served as the President of "For the Child," a charity that operates the "Kids Place" playroom in the Long Beach courthouse and provides counseling to sexually abused children. She is a member of the Trust and Probate section of the State Bar of California and served as a board member of both the Long Beach Bar Association and the Downtown Long Beach Lions Club. Ms. Miller was formerly with John D. Miller Prof. Corp. and worked on air crash cases, personal injury, construction, real estate, probate and conservatorships. Ms. Miller frequently is appointed by the court to investigate contested conservatorships and serves as a court settlement officer in contested probate and trust cases.
