Rushton, Stakely, Johnston & Garrett, P.A. was founded in 1890 in Montgomery, Alabama. The Firm has practiced under its present name since 1942 and is presently composed of over 30 attorneys. The Firm's litigation practice is substantially defense oriented in the areas of professional liability, antitrust, commercial business disputes, media, products liability, insurance defense, fraud and securities cases. The Firm's corporate, business, tax, real estate and employment law attorneys are highly experienced in all aspects of general corporate, health care corporate, tax planning and securities matters, including equity and debt financings, reorganizations, stock and asset purchase transactions, mergers, partnerships, licensing and franchising matters, syndications, public and private securities offerings and securities litigation.
